Remember what mattered.
Plan what comes next.
Willow is a journal and a quiet planner in the same place. Open any day — one that has happened or one still ahead — and write what is there. Over time the months behind you fill in, and the ones in front of you stop feeling empty.
No account, nothing to set up. Your journal begins on this device.

Every day tells a story
A day in Willow is a page, not a schedule. What went well at work and who you had lunch with belong to the same afternoon, so they belong in the same place. Write a line or write a thousand words — the page never asks for more than you have.
Come back a year later and you will not find a list of what you completed. You will find what your life was actually like.

Shipped the thing I have been dreading since November. Less relief than I expected — mostly just quiet.
Walked home the long way because the light was doing something over the river. Stood there for a while. Told no one.
Dad called, unprompted, for no reason at all. Twenty minutes about nothing. Best part of the day by a distance.
Finish the Le Guin before Sunday. Ask him about the boat photo.
Remember what mattered
The walk you took, the thing someone said, the photo you keep going back to. Days you have written fill in softly behind you, so a season is something you can hold, not something you have to recall.
Plan what comes next
Open a day that hasn’t happened yet and write toward it. A trip, a birthday, the quiet Sunday you are protecting. Planning here feels like preparing for your life, not managing it.
Room for both
A deadline and a sunset sit on the same page, in the same handwriting. Willow never suggests that one of them was the real day and the other was a distraction.
Yours to keep
Willow writes to your device first, always. There is no account to make, nothing is sent anywhere, and it opens just the same on a plane or in a tunnel. You could write here for years and never sign in.
An account will be optional
When sync arrives it will exist for one reason: so the same journal opens on your phone and your laptop. Everything you wrote beforehand will come with you.
Leave whenever you like
Take the whole journal with you as a file, any day, without asking. It is your handwriting; it was never ours to hold.
One honest note for when it lands: synced entries are stored on the server as plain text, so whoever runs it could read them. Worth knowing before you write something you would only say out loud.
Sync is coming
Willow already keeps your journal safely on this device, and that part is ready today. Opening the same journal on your phone and your laptop is still being built — it will arrive quietly, and nothing you write between now and then will be lost.

Add Willow to your home screen and it opens like a book you left on the table — on today, ready, with nothing in the way.
